Does Mountain BizWorks give out grants?
Mountain BizWorks does not give out grants; we loan money. Please contact your nearest office.

When are new Foundations classes being offered?
Classes are not on a set schedule, but begin throughout the year based on demand, so there are always new classes being formed. To find out where and when classes and programs are being offered, contact your nearest office.

What area does Mountain BizWorks serve?
Mountain BizWorks serves Western North Carolina small businesses in the following 12 counties:
Buncombe, Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Macon, Madison, Polk, Swain, and Transylvania
For information on microenterprise loans outside this area, contact your local Chamber of Commerce or area community college.
