Mountain BizWorks regularly reviews and audits its financial management and lending activity to ensure the continued financial stability of the organization. We understand that sustainability requires vigorous oversight of our financial health and well-prepared and monitored annual budgets and audited financial statements. Find financial snapshots of the last two years below. Copies of our recent audits are available upon request.
Consistent with other nonprofit community development financial institutions (CDFIs), Mountain BizWorks raises both loan (investments) and operating capital from a variety of sources including banks, foundations, businesses, religious institutions, government entities, and individuals.
Mountain BizWorks reports all program data to Aeris. Aeris is an information service for community investors who champion economic justice in underserved markets. Since 2004, Aeris has provided data, analysis, and advisory services that support investment in CDFIs. Reporting to Aeris helps investors evaluate opportunities that meet their impact goals and risk parameters.
Our governing documents, 501(c)3 designation letter, annual tax returns (Form 990), and conflict of interest and other policies are available upon request.
