PPP and Other Disaster Recovery Funding Program FAQs & Learning Resources
Our lending and coaching teams put together a detailed list of Frequently Asked Questions from our weekly “Navigating COVID-19 Financial Resources for Small Businesses” webinar series, and created a detailed document answering dozens of the most common questions as simply and concisely as possible.
We also recently released a Guide to Maximizing Your PPP Loan Forgiveness, to help make sure that small businesses are taking all the right steps to ensure that they make the most of this program and don’t end up owing money they hadn’t planned for. PPP loan program guidelines are still coming out regularly, so please check the document link often to ensure you get the most current information.

To help our clients and other WNC small business owners navigate, prepare for, and access the various COVID-19 funding resources, Mountain BizWorks has established a response task force of Disaster Response Funding Specialists. They can assist with questions regarding most of the federal, state, and local programs including PPP, SBA EIDL, NC Rapid Recovery Loans, One Buncombe Fund, and other community response funds. We have specialist tracks available for small businesses, nonprofits, and en español.
