The data collected herein such as race, gender, income enables to track our impact on diverse communities and is required by many of our funding partners. Learn more about our mission.

Welcome! If you are new to Mountain BizWorks, attend one of our free Orientations to understand which services or programs may be best for your unique needs.  Note: In the startup phase, a common pathway is the Foundations Business Planning course followed by 1:1 business coaching.

Coaching clients are set up with a Client Portal to manage their business coaching activities. This is where you’ll view past/ current coaching projects, request more hours, submit to work with other coaches, access session notes from your coach, and any suggested actionable tasks. New clients will receive an email once your application has been processed.

As part of our WNC Strong: Recover Forward program, every new coaching application now includes 10 free hours of business coaching. We are grateful to our partners at the North Carolina Community Foundation who are investing in long-term small business recovery by making this support available.
