One Buncombe Fund Grants for Small Businesses

Coming soon: in February 2020, the One Buncombe Fund will reopen to accept applications for grants up to $5000 to help COVID-impacted small businesses.

On January 26, the Buncombe County Commissioners approved a new round of the One Buncombe Fund to provide grants to COVID-19 impacted small businesses. Mountain BizWorks will administer the fund. Program details will be posted to this page on February 2. Sign up below for updates.

Timeline

  • In 2019, at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, public and private partners as well as community members came together to establish One Buncombe to provide COVID-19 pandemic emergency to highly impacted local small businesses as well as for area unemployed individuals. Please visit onebuncombe.org to learn how you can contribute to this initiative.
  • January 26: Buncombe County Commissions approved funding to establish a new round of One Buncombe Fund support for small Businesses. Whereas the first round was an emergency loans program, this round will be an emergency grants program.
  • Mountain BizWorks will be the grant fund administrator and is planning to release program details on February 2 and the application window is scheduled to open on February 10.
