With the addition of our new Southernwestern Regional Manager, we’re very pleased to be able to increase our work with Southwestern area entrepreneurs and partners.
New Presence in the Region
We’re excited to announce that Christine Laucher has joined our team as the Southwestern Regional Manager.
Christine’s experience in community organizing, business coaching, and workforce development will guide her work in the region, with an aim to support new and existing small businesses.
With Christine’s new role, we will be able to have a more hands on and community driven approach to our services in the region. Our regional services include:

Ilda: Bringing a Taste of Italy in the South
Opening any business during these pandemic years may have been a daunting feat for most, but for Sylva, NC native Crystal and her partner Santiago, it was a necessary and calculated risk to take.
They took their concept from New York to Sylva, and Ilda, an authentic Italian restaurant, was born.
Six months after opening, it’s clear the risk was well worth taking.
